Production Operator – Solaris

About the role

Coherent is seeking a Production Operator for its Solaris line. The role involves operating automated test equipment and performing assembly tasks in a semiconductor clean‑room environment while meeting productivity, quality and efficiency targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate automated test equipment and execute assembly processes for II‑VI Laser Enterprise products.
• Achieve daily KPI targets for productivity, quality, cycle time and efficiency.
• Maintain clean‑room protocols and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Document work activities and report any deviations to the immediate supervisor.

Required profile

• High‑school graduate with at least 2 years of electronics or semiconductor production experience (preferred).
• Hands‑on attitude, initiative and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent manual dexterity and the ability to manipulate very small parts using tweezers or similar tools.
• Good eyesight (correctable with glasses) and the capacity to stand for long periods.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing daily activities and strong attention to detail.
