Production Operator – Semiconductor Manufacturing

About the role

The Production Operator works on the semiconductor manufacturing line to maximise throughput while maintaining high quality, yield and cycle time. The role involves operating equipment, following strict ESD and 5S standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate production equipment or perform assigned tasks according to work instructions.
• Follow ESD, 5S, and IATF16949/EHS requirements and report any issues promptly.
• Support the line coordinator in meeting production targets.
• Handle raw, auxiliary materials and tools correctly to ensure efficient, cost‑effective manufacturing.
• Participate in TPM activities and other continuous‑improvement projects.
• Complete required worksheets accurately to document work results.
• Perform any temporary tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Graduate of a 2‑year technical program, senior high school, or at least two years of college education.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing is a plus but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule.
• Understanding of basic semiconductor assembly and test requirements.

Required skills

• Equipment operation in a semiconductor environment.
• ESD safety handling.
• 5S workplace organization.
• Knowledge of IATF16949 and EHS standards.
• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) participation.
