Production Operator

About the role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Production Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining assigned machines throughout start‑up, production, and shutdown phases. The role ensures compliance with standard operating procedures, occupational safety, product quality, and preventive maintenance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain machines according to SOPs, work instructions, and manuals, adhering to safety, quality, and preventive/corrective maintenance standards.
• Perform basic equipment care, cleaning, sanitation, and machine preparation for start‑up and shutdown.
• Conduct inspection and sampling activities, coordinate non‑conformances with the Production Supervisor, and follow BEC checklists and risk assessments.
• Implement and uphold policies such as EHS Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment, Good Manufacturing Practices, QMS, HACCP, and HALAL; may participate in internal audits.
• Prepare production, inventory, and monitoring reports and take part in turnover activities.
