Production Operator

About the role

We are looking for a Production Operator to join our chemical manufacturing plant. The role involves ensuring smooth production processes, meeting volume targets, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities to maintain productivity and meet volume goals.
• Participate in process improvement projects such as EECIP, Bright Ideas, and COQ.
• Support environmental, health and safety programs, including good housekeeping and incident reporting.
• Execute product safety management (PSM) and work instructions, monitor process conditions, and record data for quality and traceability.
• Maintain effective communication and cooperation with coworkers to ensure efficient plant operations.

Required profile

• High school diploma or technical/vocational certificate; chemical technology background is a plus.
• Experience in chemical manufacturing, refining, petrochemical, or industrial production is advantageous.
• Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and technical instructions.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Required skills

• Knowledge of process control systems.
• Understanding of industrial safety practices.
