Production Operator – EMS/QMS & ESD Support

About the role

Microchip Technology Inc. is seeking a Production Operator to support its manufacturing floor. The role focuses on implementing and maintaining the Environmental Management System (EMS), Quality Management System (QMS) and Electro‑Static Discharge (ESD) controls while ensuring smooth lot flow through the line.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement EMS, QMS and ESD procedures.
• Verify documentation before endorsement and ensure clear execution of instructions.
• Expedite movement of lots from cage operation to line set‑up and monitor “waiting set‑up” downtime.
• Provide required materials and hardware (load board, probe card) as identified on the e‑board.
• Handle equipment such as trolleys and pushcarts safely during lot transfers.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards at the “Next lot Rack”.
• Report emergencies, absences, and any line issues to the supervisor.

• Proven ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Capability to follow written and verbal directions and detailed work specifications.
• Excellent listening skills.
