Production Operator – Automated Test Equipment

About the role

The Production Operator will run automated test equipment for II‑VI Laser Enterprise, ensuring that production meets defined productivity, quality, efficiency and cycle‑time targets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated test equipment in a semiconductor clean‑room environment.
• Achieve daily KPI targets for productivity, quality, efficiency and cycle time.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives and adhere to clean‑room protocols.

Required profile

• College degree or 2‑year technical qualification.
• 2‑3 years experience in semiconductor assembly, burn‑in or test production.
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent manual dexterity and vision (glasses acceptable, no contact lenses).
• Ability to stand for long periods and adapt to changing daily tasks.

Required skills

• Operation of automated test equipment.
• Semiconductor assembly and burn‑in/test procedures.
• Clean‑room protocol and MSDS knowledge.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
