Procurement Specialist

About the role

The RELX Global Procurement team is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the Direct Spend team. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies for content acquisition, development and operations, driving cost savings and supplier performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage procurement strategies for data licensing, data sourcing and content operations initiatives.
• Initiate and manage strategic partnerships with suppliers, negotiate contracts and ensure favorable terms.
• Analyze legal terms, create contract drafts, and oversee supplier relationship management.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to align spend with cost‑reduction and efficiency goals.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support senior management with recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree and 3‑5 years of procurement experience.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, RFP/RFI/RFQ processes and business‑process improvement.
• Excellent communication and project‑management abilities.
