Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to manage the sourcing, negotiation and acquisition of goods and services, ensuring optimal price, quality and delivery for the organization. The role will support various departments by handling purchase orders, contracts and supplier relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Source, validate and negotiate required goods and services using best‑practice and Total Cost of Ownership principles.
• Prepare bid tabulations from RFP/RFQ processes and recommend shortlisted suppliers.
• Create purchase orders or contracts in the procurement system in line with company policies.
• Assist in resolving purchase‑order or contract discrepancies and provide necessary documentation.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations, company purchasing policies and ethical standards.
• Maintain weekly reporting trackers and provide project‑specific procurement reports.
• Support supplier performance reviews and act as liaison between suppliers and internal teams.
• Perform any other duties required to meet business needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement or a comparable role.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience using a procurement management system.
