About the role
We are looking for a Procurement Officer to manage the sourcing, purchasing and vendor relationships for our organization. The role will support business units by ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while driving cost efficiency and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Source suppliers, obtain quotations and evaluate proposals based on price, quality, lead time and commercial terms.
- Issue purchase orders, maintain accurate procurement documentation and monitor request fulfillment.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews and support vendor onboarding and contract compliance.
- Negotiate pricing and payment terms, identify cost‑saving opportunities and monitor market pricing trends.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval matrices and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with Finance, Operations, HR, IT and other units to communicate order status and resolve supplier issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance or a related field.
- 2–4 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
- Experience in a corporate, shared‑services, outsourcing or multinational environment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP or procurement systems is preferred.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using ERP or dedicated procurement software.
