Process Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Process Technician to lead failure analysis of pump products and support test equipment maintenance on our production line. The role involves close collaboration with process engineers to drive yield improvements and ensure product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Perform failure analysis of pump products, collect data and prepare engineering reports.
• Support daily production line issues, troubleshoot product and test problems, and conduct line audits.
• Maintain PLD test equipment, including calibration, GRR studies and SPC reviews.
• Repair abnormal test kits, verify test kits under engineering instructions, and handle RMA units throughout their lifecycle.
• Document process engineer actions, generate reports, and provide online technical support and training to junior technicians and operators.
• Use statistical tools to analyze data, generate distribution charts, histograms, SPC and trend charts.

Required profile

• BS in Electronics/Electrical Technology or equivalent technical discipline (optics, semiconductor, electronics).
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in failure analysis, test equipment maintenance or production support.
• Ability to read simple English instructions and communicate effectively.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Operation of test equipment such as power meters, multimeters and optical spectrum analyzers (OSA).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with statistical analysis tools (SPC, histograms, distribution and trend charts).
• Knowledge of calibration, GRR and test kit verification procedures.
