Process Engineer - Beverages

About the role

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Process Engineer to support beverage production operations. You will ensure that production runs smoothly, safely, and meet quality standards while maintaining accurate records and equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Check production materials against the plan for correct variety, quantity, quality, and weight.
• Adjust equipment parameters, verify valve and pipeline connections, and conduct daily start‑up, production, shutdown, and shift transfers.
• Perform batching operations following workflow, dosage, time, and temperature specifications.
• Maintain complete and accurate production line records and report emergencies to supervisors.
• Monitor machine productivity, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards.
• Clean, sanitize, and prepare machines and surrounding areas according to standard procedures.
• Execute on‑line quality control checks at required frequencies.
• Conduct daily inventory of raw materials, cleaning supplies, and consumables.
• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance, including routine inspections and cleaning.
• Generate manual procedures, checklists, and documentation; initiate improvement projects.

Required profile

• Ability to verify production materials and follow detailed production plans.
• Capability to adjust equipment settings and ensure proper valve and pipeline connections.
• Experience with start‑up, production, shutdown, and shift‑transfer operations.
• Strong record‑keeping skills and ability to report and assist with emergency situations.
• Proficiency in monitoring machine performance and adhering to quality standards.
• Commitment to cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment according to SOPs.
