Podcast Producer & Content Creator (Remote, AU Startup Community)

About the role

We are seeking a Podcast Producer & Content Creator to lead the audio and video content for an Australian startup community’s podcast and related media. This fully remote, full‑time position will report to Australian business hours and will own the creative direction from concept to publication.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end podcast production, turning raw recordings into weekly published episodes.
• Audit the existing podcast and content library and propose improvements to storytelling, audio quality, pacing, and visual identity.
• Edit podcast audio into short‑form video clips for LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram.
• Edit meetup recordings, vox pops, and employer‑brand videos.
• Build, document, and continuously improve scalable production workflows, templates, and operating procedures.
• Manage the content calendar, publishing cadence, and workflow from brief to final publication with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with the founder and key stakeholders to refine creative direction and drive production excellence.
• Write engaging captions and publish content across social media platforms.
• Coordinate voice‑over recordings and integrate them into final episodes when required.
• Leverage AI tools for editing efficiency, transcription, caption generation, and workflow automation.
• Organise and manage podcast assets, production files, and documentation using Google Drive, Notion, and other collaboration tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience producing podcasts from start to finish.
• Experience creating engaging video content for social platforms.
• Ability to take ownership of creative direction and work independently.
• Comfortable working remotely on a full‑time schedule aligned with AU business hours.
