Platform Engineer – Graveyard Shift (1am‑10am) – Remote

About the role
We are looking for a motivated Platform Engineer to join our remote team on a graveyard shift (1 am – 10 am). You will design, build and maintain the backend infrastructure that powers our innovative products, ensuring high availability and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable backend solutions for our services.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and implement APIs.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and optimise resources.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative remote environment.
- Excellent understanding of Linux‑based systems.
Required skills
- Programming languages: Python, Java, Go, C.
- Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, GCP.
- Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Containerisation: Docker, Kubernetes.
- CI/CD tools and practices.
- Databases: MySQL, MongoDB.
- Monitoring & logging: Prometheus, ELK stack.
