Plant Supervisor – Steel Fabrication

About the role

The Plant Supervisor will lead the steel fabrication plant, ensuring smooth daily operations, high productivity, and strict safety standards. You will be responsible for managing production schedules, quality control, and a skilled workforce while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily plant operations to maintain workflow efficiency and meet production targets.
• Monitor and adjust production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met and processes are optimized.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures for welding, assembly, and finishing to minimize defects.
• Lead, mentor, and train production leads, welders, and machine operators; conduct performance evaluations.
• Develop, update, and enforce plant policies and procedures to improve safety and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental, and OSHA safety standards through inspections and risk assessments.
• Manage inventory, parts, equipment, and supply‑chain activities to support uninterrupted production.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a steel fabrication or similar manufacturing plant.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations, especially OSHA.
• Ability to lead teams, conduct training, and drive performance improvements.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a focus on continuous process enhancement.
