Placement Officer for Career Development

About the role

CIIT is seeking a Placement Officer for Career Development to coordinate internship and graduate placement programs for college and senior high school students. The role supports the university’s mission to bridge the gap between education and industry by ensuring students gain meaningful work experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate endorsement and deployment of students to accredited internship partners.
• Manage internship requirements, documentation, and match students with suitable companies.
• Monitor student progress, liaise with company supervisors, and resolve placement issues.
• Consolidate internship evaluations and prepare performance reports.
• Track graduate employment outcomes and maintain up‑to‑date placement records.
• Support job postings, recruitment activities, job fairs, and other graduate placement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate placement databases and generate reports and dashboards for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, Psychology, Communication, Education, Social Sciences or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in internship coordination, career services, recruitment or student services.
• Strong organization, coordination and documentation skills with ability to manage multiple timelines.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities with students, industry partners and internal teams.
• Detail‑oriented, adaptable and able to handle confidential information professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Airtable or similar database/tracking tools.
