PHP Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to design, build, and maintain robust server‑side applications. You will work closely with front‑end engineers to deliver high‑performance, responsive web solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate user‑facing elements created by front‑end developers.
• Develop efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
• Address complex performance and architectural challenges.
• Design and integrate data storage solutions, including databases and key‑value stores.
• Develop, test, and maintain PHP‑based web applications.
• Write clean, well‑structured, and maintainable PHP code.
• Work with MySQL, optimizing queries and database structures.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and payment gateways.
• Collaborate on responsive and interactive web designs.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software issues.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest web technologies and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as Laravel or Yii.
• Understanding of PHP’s synchronous behavior and MVC design patterns.
• Basic proficiency with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Solid grasp of object‑oriented PHP programming.
• Awareness of accessibility and security compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with common PHP and web‑server exploits and mitigation strategies.
• Experience designing scalable applications and handling authentication/authorization across systems.
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and create database schemas supporting business processes.
