People Project Manager

About the role

The People Project Manager leads complex, cross‑functional People systems initiatives for a global operating center in Manila. You will translate People strategy into executable project plans, manage full project lifecycles, and ensure confidentiality of employee data.

Key responsibilities

• Lead People function projects from initiation through closure, covering HRIS/HCM platforms, benefits, talent acquisition, learning technology, analytics, upgrades and migrations.
• Partner with functional leaders, business sponsors and technology partners to define objectives, scope, success measures and governance.
• Develop integrated project plans, manage budgets, resources, risks and dependencies, and provide regular status reporting.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams, establish governance, ensure data privacy compliance, and support operational readiness and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management or related field (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience managing People or People‑systems projects, including HRIS/HCM implementations.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders, resolve conflicts and drive decisions without direct authority.
• Experience working with global, geographically distributed teams and within a PMO environment.

Required skills

• HRIS and HCM platform expertise (e.g., Workday).
• Proficiency with Smartsheet for project scheduling and reporting.
• Project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) and certifications are strongly preferred.
