People & Operations Specialist

About the role

Amplify is seeking a People & Operations Specialist to support both people operations and day‑to‑day business functions in a fast‑moving, remote‑first environment. You will partner with global teams to ensure hiring, onboarding, performance tracking, and process execution run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, from posting to onboarding, and maintain clean candidate pipelines.
• Maintain employee records, HR documentation, and ensure confidentiality of sensitive data.
• Track onboarding status, employee performance flags, and generate reports to identify gaps.
• Monitor operational trackers for hiring, onboarding, and performance, flagging issues early.
• Ensure consistent execution of HR and operational processes across teams.
• Coordinate with managers to follow up on hiring feedback, performance issues, and missing reports.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or People Ops role within a startup or remote‑first company.
• Fluent English with native‑level written and spoken communication.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to maintain accountability.
• Strong emotional intelligence and ability to handle employee queries with empathy and discretion.
