Paralegal - Legal & Compliance (Hybrid, Fixed‑Term)

About the role

The Paralegal – Legal & Compliance will support AP Renewables Inc. by managing corporate housekeeping, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting the Legal and Compliance team in day‑to‑day operations. This fixed‑term, hybrid position is based in Makati and works closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and submit corporate documents to meet compliance requirements of ARI Corp and its business units.
• Monitor deadlines for permits, contracts, and other regulatory obligations.
• Conduct legal research on industry‑specific regulations, including energy, labor, safety, health, and environment.
• Draft contracts, legal opinions, agreements, and other legal documents for review by team leaders.
• Coordinate due‑diligence activities on land and related legal matters.
• Liaise with external counsel and internal departments to resolve compliance issues.
• Attend public consultations and represent ARI interests when required.
• Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, permits, and compliance records.
• Report progress on legal and compliance matters to team leaders regularly.

Required profile

• Degree in Law, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a hybrid team.
