Pag-asa Internship – Teaching & Ministry Support

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience in a bilingual school environment, supporting teachers and students from kindergarten to grade 10. Interns will engage in classroom activities, mentorship, and optional ministry‑related projects.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers by working with students who have high learning needs.
• Tutor struggling learners across subjects such as Math, English, Science, Filipino, PE, Art, and Music.
• When possible, take responsibility for a class and develop lesson plans.
• Participate in outreach activities with partner orphanages outside school hours.
• Contribute creative skills (videography, photography, art, music) to school projects if applicable.

Required profile

• Relationship with God and desire to deepen it.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to difficult situations, and work in new environments.
• Servant’s heart and love for God’s people.
• Team player who respects leadership.
• Trustworthy with confidential information.
• Passion for children and experience working with kids of all ages.
• Comfortable using public transportation.
• Recovered from personal trauma and able to handle triggers when working with traumatized youth.
• At least 20 years old.
• Commitment of at least one month.
