Operations Supervisor – End User Computing

About the role

The Operations Supervisor will lead a team of systems engineers responsible for end‑user computing services, ensuring reliable Windows infrastructure, identity platforms, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, handling hiring, training, performance appraisal, and coaching.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for Windows servers, AD, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, AWS and Azure.
• Partner with development, support groups and vendors to coordinate operations, troubleshoot incidents and implement improvements.
• Diagnose performance issues, adjust system parameters, and develop recovery procedures.
• Develop and implement security programs, create guidelines, flow diagrams and measurement tools.
• Participate in on‑call rotation and provide after‑hours support as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 10‑12 years of systems/infrastructure engineering experience.
• 3‑5 years of leadership or people‑management experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coach staff, foster innovation and ensure compliance with policies.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Windows servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP.
• Experience with enterprise identity platforms (Entra ID/Active Directory) and public cloud (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams).
• Incident, change and major incident management expertise.
• System installation, virtual server environments, thin clients, scripting for automation, and system recovery procedures.
