Operations Manager, Supply Chain

About the role

The Operations Manager, Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing daily logistics, inventory, and fulfillment activities to ensure reliable service, cost control, and continuous improvement. This position works closely with cross‑functional teams to optimise warehouse workflows, drive key performance indicators and support scalable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day logistics, inventory management and order fulfillment operations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional planning and capacity forecasting.
• Optimise warehouse processes, standardise procedures and improve workflow efficiency.
• Monitor and own service, cost, quality and safety KPIs.
• Resolve operational bottlenecks, mitigate risks and manage vendor relationships.
• Prepare and present operational performance reports to senior leadership.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain or logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor staff and foster a culture of accountability.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems.
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities.
• Knowledge of inventory control methodologies.
• Lean manufacturing principles.
