Operations Manager – Chemical & Industrial Operations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities at our chemical materials facility. The role focuses on productivity, safety, quality and regulatory compliance, especially handling ammonia and other hazardous chemicals.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise daily operational activities to meet productivity and quality targets.
• Develop, implement and continuously improve operational policies, SOPs and workflows.
• Monitor performance, resource utilization and prepare operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with OSH, environmental and regulatory requirements, overseeing safe handling of ammonia.
• Lead risk assessments, incident reviews and root‑cause analyses, and manage corrective actions.
• Supervise, coach and evaluate operations personnel, coordinating with Safety Officers, Security and other department heads.

Required profile

• Licensed Industrial Engineer with 3–5 years of operations management experience.
• Proven background in chemical, industrial or manufacturing operations, including hazardous chemicals handling.
• Valid OSH/Safety Officer Certificate and strong knowledge of occupational safety, risk management and environmental compliance.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Tanauan, Batangas, with initial training in Taguig City.
