Operations Audit Specialist (Cebu)

About the role

The Operations Audit Specialist will plan, execute, and report audit engagements focused on operational risk and compliance. Working closely with auditees, you will help strengthen internal controls and support continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and conducting audit engagements, defining scope and timelines.
• Prepare audit work programs and perform walkthroughs, interviews, testing, and risk assessments.
• Review processes and documentation to verify compliance with policies and controls.
• Identify audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and prepare working papers and reports.
• Participate in opening and closing meetings with auditees and monitor implementation of agreed actions.
• Prepare audit status reports and contribute to process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in internal audit, external audit, accounting, or business process analysis.
• Knowledge of audit processes, risk assessment, internal controls, and audit standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and report‑writing abilities.
• Willingness to work onsite in Cebu.
