Operational Resilience Lead

About the role

Prudential is looking for an Operational Resilience Lead in Metro Manila. The role leads the implementation, embedding and continuous improvement of the organization's Operational Resilience framework in line with the Group Operational Resilience Policy, applicable standards and local governance expectations. It covers critical business services, impact tolerances, dependency mapping, scenario testing, vulnerability management, self-assessment, reporting and incident learning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Operational Resilience framework, standards, procedures and methodologies, and ensure Board, Executive and management committee terms of reference cover oversight, reporting, decision-making and escalation.
• Coordinate governance approvals for critical business services, impact tolerances, resilience assessments, scenario testing outcomes, risk acceptances and remediation plans, and escalate issues to the second-line resilience risk function where required.
• Lead criticality assessments of business services, assign Service Owners, validate the list of Critical Business Services and support Service Owners in defining and maintaining impact tolerances.
• Maintain end-to-end dependency mapping (people, process, technology, data, facilities, third parties) annually and whenever material changes occur, and identify vulnerabilities, single points of failure and recovery gaps.
• Design and run severe but plausible scenario tests, track them to closure and submit outcomes to governance forums for approval or risk acceptance.
• Support incident and crisis response, document lessons learned and run post-incident reviews to check whether services stayed within tolerance.
• Coordinate annual self-assessments, build management dashboards, issue trackers and executive reports, and keep audit trails of approvals, assessments and remediation actions.
• Engage business units and control functions, run workshops and awareness sessions, and act as subject matter expert; comply with company policies and the Pru Life UK Compliance Standards.
