About the role

Prudential is hiring a Senior Actuarial Analyst in Metro Manila. The role reports to the Manager of Actuarial Modeling / In Force Management, who provides oversight, guidance and strategic direction for all modeling and in-force management initiatives within the actuarial department.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain, calibrate and validate actuarial models and tools: troubleshoot model issues, keep them up to date with the latest assumptions and data, implement enhancements for new products and coordinate with relevant teams on discrepancies.
  • Build and implement new actuarial tools and contribute to model optimization, including prototyping, user testing and deployment of improved solutions.
  • Create and update process documentation such as flowcharts, user guides and standard operating procedures, and set up audit trails and quality checks.
  • Support other actuarial units through cross-functional projects, sharing expertise, training and presentations, and resolving complex technical challenges.
