On-call IV Infusion Nurse

About the role

OneWave Wellness is seeking an on‑call IV Infusion Nurse to deliver therapeutic IV treatments to clients in their homes or alternate living sites. The role blends clinical expertise with personalized patient education to ensure safe, effective infusion therapy.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer therapeutic IV infusions.
• Develop individualized care plans for repeat clients.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion procedures and safety.
• Monitor patient responses, manage complications, and adjust therapy as needed.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and review lab reports and drug information.
• Maintain positive customer relations for home‑infusion and in‑home service programs.
• Provide direct nursing services and case management for patients receiving home infusion.
• Complete ad‑hoc tasks assigned by the company.

Required profile

• Strong venous access skills with ability to access peripheral veins.
• Previous home‑infusion experience strongly preferred.
• Nursing degree (BSN preferred) with 2‑5 years of relevant experience.
• At least 3 years of patient care in an ambulatory health‑care environment.
• Excellent patient‑care, communication, and time‑management abilities.
• Collaborative, resourceful, and ethical approach to client needs.

Required skills

• Venous access (peripheral IV cannulation).
• Home infusion therapy.
• Nursing practice (BSN level).
• Basic Microsoft Office applications.
