New Product Introduction Engineer

About the role

The New Product Introduction Engineer will lead Factory NPI activities, ensuring new models are developed and launched in line with key result areas. Reporting to the Program Manager, the role bridges engineering, production, and planning to drive successful product roll‑outs.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly revenue targets by coordinating project deliverables, release of build plans, and ensuring production readiness with engineering and factory teams.
• Monitor production demand, track daily model updates, manage NPCAF releases for buffer and unrecoverable units, and keep MRP data aligned with customer service.
• Conduct product performance reviews with factory and design engineering, identify and close factory‑related issues, and manage system problem logs.
• Lead transition from New Product to Mass Production, supporting capacity planning, standard time updates, and release of manufacturing plans.
• Ensure compliance with safety programs by participating in Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Control (HIRAC) activities and reporting near‑misses.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in New Product Introduction, manufacturing operations, or production/project coordination.
• Proven experience in production planning, MRP systems, and coordinating build readiness from NPI through mass production.
