Network Operations Center (NOC) Intern

About the role

TaskUs, a provider of outsourced digital services and customer experience to technology companies, is looking for a Network Operations Center (NOC) intern in Imus. As a NOC intern you will help ensure maximum service availability across the company's infrastructure by monitoring alerts, performing routine health checks and working alongside NOC engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively monitor core network health using enterprise tools such as SolarWinds and ThousandEyes and respond immediately to system alerts.
• Validate incoming alerts, perform initial diagnostic checks and escalate complex issues to NOC engineers following standard operating procedures.
• Perform infrastructure checks and assist in generating network performance metrics for management.
• Help track device inventory, knowledge base entries and network documentation.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Basic grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, OSI model, DNS/DHCP, subnetting, routing and switching).
• Basic familiarity with network diagnostics (ping, traceroute, Wireshark).
