Medical Historian – Patient Interview & Record Writing

About the role

The Medical Historian (VA) will conduct patient outreach, gather medical information, and produce accurate medical narratives for our healthcare clients. This full‑time, onsite position is based in Upper McKinley, Taguig, and offers a supportive environment for professionals with a medical background.

Key responsibilities

• Contact patients to schedule and conduct initial interviews.
• Retrieve and review source documents to establish each patient’s medical background.
• Follow a standardized questionnaire to conduct clinical interviews.
• Analyze interview data and compose detailed medical narratives in the required format.
• Submit completed reports to the Production Supervisor for review.

Required profile

• Graduate of a Medical Allied course, preferably with BPO or healthcare account experience.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening abilities.
• Excellent written English and professional medical writing skills.
• Knowledge of medical history‑taking is preferred.
• Willingness to work onsite in Upper McKinley, Taguig.
