About the role

The Medical Enabler (Medical Manager) – Oncology is a trusted, scientifically grounded partner within Roche’s customer engagement model. You will build deep, long‑term relationships with key external stakeholders to proactively shape medical practice, accelerate pipeline delivery and differentiate Roche’s oncology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Offer medical expertise across the oncology therapeutic area, providing scientific and clinical insights that differentiate the pipeline and portfolio.
• Lead the medical component of integrated strategies, crafting a scientifically sound, differentiated value story for local markets.
• Proactively engage Therapeutic Area Experts and other stakeholders, aligning medical activities with broader field‑based initiatives.
• Drive strategic advocacy, community engagement and adoption of medical practice based on robust data.
• Establish and maintain peer‑to‑peer relationships, fostering science‑driven collaborations and high‑quality, non‑promotional scientific exchanges.
• Provide current medical education to external customers and support internal training to ensure continuous knowledge updates.
• Generate actionable insights from engagements to inform future medical activities and portfolio positioning.

Required profile

• Strong scientific, medical and therapeutic‑area expertise in oncology.
• Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with external stakeholders such as Therapeutic Area Experts.
• Experience shaping medical strategy and communicating a differentiated value story.
