About the role

International SOS is seeking a Medical Coordinator to lead clinical healthcare services in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care, coordinating preventative health programs, and supporting onsite medical teams in a dynamic international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical consultations and ensure compassionate, evidence‑based patient care.
• Establish a family‑oriented practice model for both outpatient and inpatient continuity.
• Design and implement preventative health and medical screening initiatives.
• Supervise delivery of health services in line with International SOS standards.
• Manage patient triage systems to optimise flow and reduce wait times.
• Provide medical leadership, training and education to onsite healthcare personnel.
• Collaborate with assistance centre teams to optimise evacuation procedures and emergency response.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor with experience in emergency medicine.
• Proactive approach to preventative healthcare and patient safety.
• Strong leadership and collaborative skills within multicultural teams.
• Commitment to high professional standards and continuous improvement.
