Media Reputation Specialist

About the role

Datawords is seeking a Media Reputation Specialist to join its Cebu office. In this role you will monitor online news and social media, provide timely alerts on reputational risks, and support the client’s brand protection efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor online news and social media conversations about the client, its competitors, and the industry.
• Provide timely alerts to the client of potential reputational risks.
• Lead the creation of reports, dashboards, and listening frameworks to support client reporting and insights.
• Handle client requests related to crisis management and reporting.
• Manage and maintain the accuracy and organization of media monitoring data, ensuring proper categorization, tagging, and storage.
• Deliver end‑of‑day listening activity reports and facilitate shift handovers.
• Assist in gathering relevant data for reputation analysis and monthly reports.
• Perform basic quality checks under guidance to ensure data relevance.
• Collaborate regularly with the Paris Reputation Management Team.
• Update internal trackers and provide detailed insights to the Lead.
• Coordinate with the Lead and escalate issues according to a predefined process.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Literature, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in crisis management or reputation monitoring.
