Mechanical Engineer – Plant Design & Project Execution

About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to deliver comprehensive plant design engineering services for our projects. You will ensure that all components are supplied on time, meet quality standards, and comply with Bühler's internal directives as well as EHS requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute plant and machine engineering work within project scope.
• Participate in project reviews and meetings as required.
• Support the Project Manager to guarantee proper project execution according to the Bühler Project Management process.
• Develop efficient, organized layouts for manufacturing plants and production lines, optimizing material flow, safety, and space utilization.
• Resolve design, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning issues with the Project Manager.
• Track schedules to ensure timely completion of assigned project parts and manage work hours to meet budgeted targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of CAD tools.
• Understanding of manufacturing principles.
• Good interpersonal, teamwork, and problem‑solving abilities.
