Mechanical Design Engineer

About the role

RecruitGo is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a global client’s engineering team. The role is fully remote and focuses on creating accurate mechanical designs, technical drawings, calculations, and specifications while adhering to industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in design team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
• Lead mechanical design initiatives, ensuring high‑quality standards.
• Produce mechanical drafts and designs using AutoCAD (Revit preferred).
• Prepare design calculations, specifications, and detailed reports.
• Generate outline and detailed construction drawings.
• Conduct feasibility studies and investigative reports.
• Attend site inspections for snagging and verification.
• Utilise design software with meticulous attention to detail and formatting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in mechanical design.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Financially astute with solid planning and organization abilities.
• Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to take on new challenges.
• Willingness to learn and improve service delivery.
• Mechanical or related trade background is welcome.
