MEAL Officer – Fixed Term (2 months)

About the role

World Vision is seeking a MEAL Officer to support the South Mindanao Earthquake response in the Philippines. This fixed‑term, two‑month position will be based in Polomolok and will help ensure accountability, data quality and effective communication with communities and donors.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and secure hard‑copy response documents and upload digital versions to SharePoint or Microsoft Teams.
• Collaborate with Response Management and Operations leads to analyse damage and needs assessments for programme design.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date field report documenting daily response activities, action plans and challenges.
• Provide timely information to Public Engagement and Emergency Communications teams, including situational reports and photo captions.
• Log and track community feedback in the Community Feedback Registry and support resolution processes.
• Assist Operations in establishing context‑appropriate complaint and feedback mechanisms.
• Conduct post‑distribution monitoring and feedback sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Management, Social Sciences or a related field.
• Knowledge of MEAL systems, data collection, processing, analysis and accountability mechanisms.
• Good physical health and ability to work in field conditions.
• Commitment to World Vision’s child safeguarding policies.

Required skills

• Familiarity with SharePoint or Microsoft Teams for information management.
• Experience in data analysis and reporting.
• Understanding of community feedback and complaint handling processes.
