Materials Planner

About the role

We are looking for a Materials Planner to manage material requirements and inventory for our production operations. The role ensures that the right components are available at the right time while keeping stock levels optimal.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute material plans (MRP) based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular tracking, auditing, and reporting.
• Identify and implement process improvements within the materials planning function.
• Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Engineering, and Warehouse teams to align material needs with business objectives.
• Resolve complex supply‑chain issues and escalated operational problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in materials planning, preferably in an electronics environment.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across departments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Hands‑on experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
