Materials Planner

About the role

Universal Robina Corporation is seeking a Materials Planner to orchestrate the supply plan for imported and local raw and packaging materials. You will ensure the right quantities are available at the right time while supporting production schedules in a cost‑effective manner.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain materials planning rules, goals and strategies, including EOQ, MOQ, safety stocks and lead times.
• Maintain accurate master data in SAP for each material and update Bill of Materials usage.
• Provide monthly warehouse space analysis and coordinate special handling requirements with plant logistics.
• Generate material plans using MRP, review material status reports, and validate arrival timings with procurement and import teams.
• Prepare and convert purchase orders for both local and imported materials.
• Monitor inventory days‑supply per location to support production plans.
• Collaborate with plant operations, supply chain, and ISD groups on scheduling, issues and SAP‑MRP projects.
• Support new product launches through planning and conceptualization phases.

Required profile

• Experience in materials planning, inventory management and supply chain coordination.
• Familiarity with SAP MRP processes and Bill of Materials management.
• Ability to work closely with procurement, import, logistics and plant operations teams.
• Strong analytical skills to review forecasts, stock levels and production usage.
