Manufacturing Technician (Pharmaceutical Production)

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician will work on‑site at Amherst Laboratories in Biñan, operating equipment that produces solid and liquid dosage forms. You will ensure production follows GMP standards, maintain clean‑room hygiene, and support the team in meeting safety, quality and productivity goals.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production equipment for solid and liquid dosage forms.
• Prepare and handle raw materials, perform in‑process checks and document activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and clean‑room areas, following strict contamination control.
• Assist with equipment setup, changeovers and minor adjustments.
• Support basic troubleshooting and coordinate with maintenance or engineering as needed.
• Collaborate with quality, engineering and production teams to achieve targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational/technical training; degree or certificate in pharmacy, chemical or industrial fields is a plus.
• Experience or training in manufacturing processes, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Ability to work in clean rooms and follow strict hygiene procedures.
• Basic understanding of quality control principles and GMP SOPs.
• Effective communication and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends or holidays as required.
