Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician III ensures smooth operation of production equipment on the assembly line, handling set‑up, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain machines to meet production targets, performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues, conduct equipment set‑ups and changeovers for different production runs.
• Document maintenance activities, equipment performance and downtime, and collaborate with production, quality and engineering teams.
• Implement 5S+1 and TPM practices to improve process efficiency.

Required profile

• Graduate of vocational, technical or diploma courses with at least 3 years of similar experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving skills and ability to read technical manuals, schematics and SOPs.
• Associate degree or equivalent in Mechanical, Electro‑Mechanical or Automation disciplines.
• Knowledge of safety standards and basic computer skills for logging maintenance data.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics and part drawings.
• Application of 5S+1 methodology.
