Manufacturing Finance Controller

About the role

The Manufacturing Finance Controller will support the Finance SSC Record‑to‑Report team by delivering accurate financial insights that drive performance across the manufacturing value chain. You will partner with regional business finance teams and non‑finance stakeholders to ensure timely reporting, compliance, and data‑driven decision making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on inventory valuation, cost of poor quality, manufacturing FCC, IPCs, obsolete stock, and IPC allocation.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including settlement runs, weighted‑average cost analysis, production variance review, and compliance with Vestas financial guidelines.
• Support annual budgeting by completing standard budget calculations and assumption templates.
• Coordinate audit requirements and maintain documentation for reports, processes, and work instructions.
• Identify and implement process improvements and contribute to global optimization initiatives.
• Produce standard and ad‑hoc analytics to assess factory profitability and financial performance.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for selected reports and, when needed, supervise team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in business controlling, financial analysis, or equivalent finance functions.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Ability to translate analytical findings into clear insights for stakeholders.
