Manager Data Science

About the role

PMI is transforming its business toward a smoke‑free future and seeks a Manager Data Science to lead advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives. You will work with cross‑functional teams to turn data into actionable insights and guide the data science community.

Key responsibilities

• Apply mathematics, statistics, data mining, and predictive modeling to generate business insights.
• Develop, implement, and productionize machine‑learning models using Python, SQL and relevant frameworks.
• Conduct advanced statistical analyses and translate findings into practical recommendations.
• Partner with stakeholders to define data‑driven strategies and deliver solutions.
• Mentor associate and senior data scientists throughout project delivery.
• Monitor AI and data‑science trends to drive innovation and process improvement.
• Communicate complex results through reports, presentations, and visualisations.

Required profile

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or related field.
• 3‑4 years of hands‑on data‑science experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, machine‑learning frameworks and relational databases.
• Experience with supervised/unsupervised learning, forecasting, NLP and advanced statistical modelling.
• Track record of deploying AI/ML models into production.
