Management Information Systems Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Management Information Systems Officer to maintain and monitor our company databases, software systems, and MIS infrastructure. The role involves generating regular reports, analysing business data, and ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security across systems.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor company databases, software systems, and MIS infrastructure.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly management reports.
• Analyze business data and provide insights for operational improvements.
• Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all systems.
• Troubleshoot system issues and coordinate with IT vendors or support teams.
• Develop and automate reports using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools.
• Support ERP, CRM, HRIS, or other enterprise systems.
• Manage user access, backups, and system documentation.
• Train staff on MIS tools and reporting procedures.
• Coordinate with departments to gather reporting requirements and improve workflows.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on data management and information security.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in MIS, reporting, data analysis, or IT support.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, macros)
• SQL and database management
• Reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Experience with ERP and CRM systems
