Maintenance Specialist – PHC Maintenance BOE

About the role

The PHC Maintenance BOE Specialist will lead the development and implementation of the maintenance strategy across Ball's personal and home care (PHC) packaging facilities in EMEA. This position drives equipment reliability, reduces unplanned downtime, and embeds a proactive maintenance culture within the manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the maintenance pillar master plan and roadmap in collaboration with plant teams.
• Coach cross‑functional teams on preventive‑maintenance methodology, tools, and standards.
• Standardize best‑practice maintenance routines, checklists, and frequencies based on equipment criticality.
• Implement data‑driven maintenance strategies aligned with failure modes and history.
• Lead root‑cause analysis (RCA), FMEA, and Reliability‑Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives.
• Deploy condition‑monitoring tools such as vibration analysis and thermography.
• Manage CMMS data entry, work‑order analysis, and spare‑parts inventory coordination.
• Create and maintain a central database of planned‑maintenance completion and metrics for leadership.
• Support training development for operators and technicians.

Required profile

• Strong technical background in industrial maintenance and equipment reliability.
• Proven project‑management experience in cross‑functional environments.
• Deep understanding of BOE maintenance pillar concepts and methodology.
• Ability to drive standardisation and data‑driven decision making.
