Maintenance Engineer

About the role

The company, a global manufacturer of customized food ingredients, is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join its plant in Calamba, Laguna. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of electrical, mechanical and facility systems through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with applicable standards, codes and safety regulations.
• Perform routine inspection, testing and maintenance of electrical systems, mechanical equipment, utilities and facilities.
• Analyze, plan and schedule Repair and Maintenance Requests (RMR) based on priority and criticality.
• Monitor and control inventory of spare parts and consumables.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs and inspections.
• Assist in creating and monitoring detailed maintenance plans, including daily, weekly and monthly shutdown schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Registered Electrical Engineer.
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with mechanical repairs of pumps, gearboxes, valves, piping systems and rotating equipment.
• Good knowledge of safety protocols such as LOTO and electrical safety.
