Maintenance Assistant Chief

About the role

The Preventive Maintenance Assistant Chief supports the Preventive Maintenance Chief in planning, organizing and supervising preventive maintenance activities across production facilities. The role aims to keep machines and equipment running safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime and supporting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in creating and implementing preventive maintenance schedules.
• Supervise daily work of maintenance technicians and ensure tasks are completed on time.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments to reduce equipment downtime.
• Help troubleshoot machine and equipment problems.
• Monitor spare‑parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and safety regulations.
• Prepare maintenance reports and keep records up to date.
• Support continuous‑improvement initiatives to boost machine performance and reliability.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Preventive Maintenance Chief.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in equipment or preventive maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory experience is an advantage.
• Willingness to work shift schedules and overtime when required.

Required skills

• Preventive maintenance knowledge.

• Familiarity with industrial equipment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
