Machine Operator

About the role

Conveying and Packaging Co., Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Machine Operator to join its production team. The role involves operating, monitoring and maintaining conveying and packaging equipment to ensure efficient production while meeting quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Operate conveying and packaging machinery according to established procedures.
• Monitor machine performance, make adjustments and record output, downtime and material usage.
• Inspect products to verify compliance with quality specifications.
• Perform routine cleaning, lubrication and basic preventive maintenance.
• Identify and report machine malfunctions, assisting with troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety regulations.
• Coordinate with supervisors, maintenance staff and team members to minimise downtime.
• Assist with changeovers, setup and other production tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or vocational graduate; technical certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a Machine Operator in manufacturing or packaging preferred.
• Physical stamina to lift materials and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work shifting schedules, overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Dependable, disciplined and committed to quality work.
