Logistics and Customs Lead

About the role

The Logistics and Customs Lead will oversee end‑to‑end logistics operations for 1RE EPC projects, ensuring materials and equipment move efficiently, cost‑effectively, and in full compliance with customs regulations. You will collaborate with New Builds, Project, Engineering, Facilities, and Operations teams to drive results and support the company’s purpose‑driven mission.

Key responsibilities

• Lead logistics governance, renew Certificates of Registration and ensure compliance with Bureau of Customs and other government regulations.
• Manage Rule of Entirety initiatives, working with customs brokers and consultants to mitigate risks.
• Direct RFQ/RFP processes for logistics services, oversee purchase requisitions, job orders, and third‑party logistics contracts.
• Oversee financial transactions with freight forwarders and brokers, validate billing documents, and control budgets.
• Build and maintain logistics dashboards, databases, and master data for trend analysis and risk reporting.
• Develop, standardise, and update logistics policies, procedures, processes, and guidelines.
• Serve as primary escalation point for logistics vendors and internal units, resolving billing, documentation, and operational issues.

• Detail‑oriented with a focus on audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
• Strategic communicator capable of collaborating across teams and representing the organisation to external agencies.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Bureau of Customs regulations and customs compliance processes.
• Experience with logistics governance, policy development, and risk management.
• Proficiency in creating logistics dashboards and managing master data.
