Legal Specialist – Commercial Contracts & Data Privacy

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Legal Specialist to join our Sales and Marketing Office. The role focuses on drafting, reviewing, and managing a high volume of commercial contracts while ensuring compliance with data privacy regulations and consumer protection laws.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize dealer, advertising, sponsorship, vendor and NDA contracts.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, tracking execution and compliance.
• Act as the point of contact for the Data Protection Officer on privacy matters within Sales & Marketing.
• Oversee legal handling of consumer complaints and coordinate timely resolutions.
• Assist in preparing pleadings, notices and responses to regulatory inquiries.
• Gather evidence and documentation for active or anticipated disputes.
• Conduct legal research on commercial law, IP, labor and industry‑specific regulations.
• Provide administrative support to the head of the Legal Section, including case law summaries and report preparation.
• Review all legal documents for accuracy, completeness and regulatory adherence.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) or LL.B. graduate, admitted to the Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 1 year experience in a law firm or in‑house legal department.
• Experience in automotive, manufacturing or consumer‑goods environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with Sales or Marketing teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Contract Management System or similar document‑management software.
