Legal Officer

About the role

The Philippine Football Federation (PFF) is seeking a Legal Officer to provide comprehensive legal support and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. The role involves advising senior officials, managing dispute resolution, and safeguarding the federation's interests across its operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice, opinions, and research on all matters affecting the federation.
• Monitor dispute resolution processes and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts, memoranda, office orders, and other corporate documents.
• Maintain the integrity and security of legal documentation.
• Act as the primary liaison with government agencies, external counsel, and football governing bodies such as FIFA.
• Oversee compliance with governmental regulations and PFF-specific policies.
• Travel as required, including outside Metro Manila or the Philippines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Business Studies, Administration, Legal Management, Secretarial, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant legal or paralegal experience (preferred).
• Strong written and oral English proficiency.
• Willingness to be assigned to the Pasig area and later to Carmona, Cavite.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
